BAKELS WHOLE GRAIN BREAD CONCENTRATES
We at Bakels fully appreciate the benefits of eating a healthy diet to maintain a healthy, happy and long life and are well aware that the demand for healthy bread products is rapidly increasing.
Therefore we developed three "super" healthy whole grain bread concentrates which are certified as healthy by the international Whole Grains council. These Bakels whole grain concentrates well exceed the minimum target set by the Whole Grain Council for the amount of whole grains per serving.
The target level is 8 grams of whole grains per serving of 50 grams bread (or 16 grams per 100 grams bread). Bakels whole grain concentrates contain whole grain levels between 11-14 grams, which emphasise the fact that this new range provides significant health benefits.
To obtain the required healthy dose of 48 grams whole grains per day, one would have to eat approximately 200 grams of certified whole grain bread, which is about 5 slices per day.
