BAKELS CARROT CAKE MIX is a premix in powder form. Contains dehydrated Carrot,,BAKELS CARROT CAKE MIX is a base mix for the easy preparation of a variety of cakes and loaves. The mix produces cakes and loaves with excellent moist keeping qualities. It has a subtle spicy flavour that can be enhanced by the addition of fresh fruits and nuts etc.,,It has a wonderfully dense texture that is excellent for a Café style cake. It is simple to prepare using the “all in method” and can be presented plain or iced with a cream cheese style icing.

Method

1. Place Group 1 ingredients in a mixing bowl fitted with a beater.,2. Mix on slow speed for approximately 1 minute.,3. Scrape down and continue mixing on slow speed for 1 minute.,4. Deposit 150g or 100g into a greased bar tin.,5. Bake at 190°C for approx. 30 minutes.
