BAKELS SLICE BASE Mix is a quick to prepare premix for the easy preparation of a plain base suitable for a wide range of slices – requiring only three added ingredients.
Simply add to morah cake or butter and water, to produce a slice base rich in flavour. Add selected topping and bake.
Need inspiration – After baking, add a layer of Bakels Hazelnut Truffle and Pettina Classic Cheesecake. Top with Dark Chocolate Shavings as pictured.

1. Place Group 1 ingredients in mixing bowl. 2. Blend with beater on low speed until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.,3. Pin mixture firmly and evenly onto the base of a lightly greased baking tray. ,4. Complete slice with selected topping. ,5. The baking time and temperature are dependent on the type of topping used.
